Jumpstarting Portland Wine Week, from 4-6pm on Monday, June 18th, Pasta with Paolo will bring pasta-making into full focus with wine. This class will teach the ins and outs of making a various styles of pasta, as well as its history, before you create and form two portions of one style yourself. Additionally, and unique to PWW’s Pasta with Paolo, the class will feature a discussion of bridge ingredients that can swing a pairing from one wine to another. At 5pm, the first portion, plated in two distinct manners by Paolo himself, will be enjoyed alongside two uniquely paired glasses of wine in the shared company of your classmates. The second portion will be yours to take home for your own attempt at re-creation or experimentation (along with the right wine, of course).
